From a one-hectare plot within the Le Pied de Baud lieu-dit on the edge of the Plateau des Brusquières in northern Châteauneuf-du-Pape. The vines average 90 years old and are surrounded by woodland.

Red clay mixed with pebbles

Harvest & Vinification
75% whole cluster. Long cold maceration followed by fermentation with native yeast in tank. Aged for 18 months in 36-hectoliter Stockinger foudres and eight-hectoliter terracotta amphorae. Unfined and unfiltered.
