From 2.43 hectares within Clos des Hospices at 350 meters altitude, planted on long, narrow terraces with northwest exposure and surrounded by seven hectares of woodland. The vines average 40 years old.

Gray marl rich in limestone

Harvest & Vinification
Partially destemmed. Fermented for 20–30 days in tank, with two long pump-overs daily; punchdowns are determined by tasting. Pneumatically pressed. Aged for 18 months in 36-hectoliter Stockinger foudres and eight-hectoliter terracotta amphorae. Unfined and unfiltered.
