From the prestigious monopole Domaine du Rochoy vineyard. An organically-farmed 10 ha slope overlooking the Loire river, in the commune of Bannay. Le Rochoy is always amongst the earliest-picked sites in Sancerre due to the south-facing exposure and flint soils, even though it is situated in the northern part of Sancerre.
Harvest & Vinification
Fermented and aged in stainless steel with indigenous yeast, matured for five months on fine lees. No malolactic fermentation. The wine matures for at least one additional month in bottle before released.
