New Cuvées from Domaine des Ardoisières

Ardoisieres Vineyard

Domaine des Ardoisières has become one of Savoie’s benchmark estates under winemaker Brice Omont, farming Alpine vineyards in Cevins, Saint-Pierre-de-Soucy, and, most recently, Arbin. The domaine works biodynamically across its roughly 12 hectares, focusing on Savoie’s native varieties and producing wines marked by freshness, precision, and the stony character of these mountain sites.

The estate’s 2022 acquisition of the former Domaine Louis Magnin vineyard in Arbin represents an important expansion for Ardoisières. The six-hectare hillside includes 2.5 hectares of Roussanne, 0.5 hectare of Altesse, and 3.5 hectares of Mondeuse Noire, including old Mondeuse vines for which this site has long been particularly prized.

With this new acquisition, Ardoisières is pleased to introduce two new single-variety wines: Aigue Marine, made entirely from Roussanne, and Erythrite, made entirely from Mondeuse Noire.

Together, the two wines mark a significant new chapter for Ardoisières, extending the estate’s work into one of Savoie’s historic sites while maintaining their impeccably high standard, showcasing the best of what this region can achieve.
