Nat Cool is about producing low-intervention, terroir driven wines from indigenous varietals. The grapes are grown in two areas of Vinho Verde: Amarante and Lousada. The vines are on average 25-30 years old.
Harvest & Vinification
The wine was made according to the old-fashioned methods: native yeast and a few grams of sugar were retained in the wine so that it would ferment again in bottle. Malolactic fermentation also took place in bottle .
