The Cole Ranch Vineyard sits on 180 acres of the Boonville grade, right between the Anderson Valley and Inner Mendocino growing regions. It was originally planted to Cabernet Sauvignon, Riesling, and Merlot in 1973. Dynamite Claret plays with the memory of John Cole’s children’s “best day” they’ve ever had, blowing up the large rock formation in the middle of the vineyard where the Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon now grow.

Harvest & Vinification
Cabernet Sauvignon was harvested November 10. Merlot was harvested October 17. Cabernet Franc was harvested October 1. Winemaking is all indigenous yeast. 100% de-stemmed. Aged in Barrel for two years with no new oak.
